Woke up groggy and went for driving lessons. cough seems to be much better now.

The first instructor today was very detailed in instructing. he expects me to push up to a higher gear whenever possible.
After his lessons, i learn that, even when turning, you also can push up gear. cos in a wide turn, if you proceed to turn at only gear 1, it will be very very slow. checking of blind spot needs to be swift and sharp.
The second instructor only took me once but he remembers my bad habits of glancing at the dashboard, pedals and gear. he spoke to me in hokkien from time to time. hahaha. while trying to absorb his instructions, sometimes i dont react to his commands fast enough. haiz...

today's pointers,
checking blind spots must be fast.
Listen to the vehicles rather than looks at the meters.
U-turning must be sharp and returning fast.
Sighting, as per normal, have to practice more. look farther ahead when driving straight. look at the right areas when turning.

After lesson, went over to meet boon to walk ard bras brasah looking at books.
For dinner, after looking through various resturants, we finally settled at the ramen shop in marina square.

We went for set A. ramen wise is ok... no big hooha. average...

Woke up early in the morning to take the meat out of the fridge for ma ma to cook for offerings to great grandpa.

Changed my bedsheets, washed my blankets and set my blankets out to dry.

After that, went for driving. hmmm... today was doing better. braking is smoother, but will need improvement in some areas.
Rapid acceleration need to improve.
Acceleration after lane change and turning.
Check of blind spot need to do more obviously.
The instructor comment that timing might be abit tight for test. hmmm... lets finish and see how.

Went home after that as cough and flu seems to be coming back.

Woke up this morning and went for driving.

Bad bad day... flu acting up. head hazy... cant stay alert. made many mistakes. instructor was hopping mad. haiz...

went to meet irin. made her angry also. end up going home to rest. irin bought me some flu medicine. we watched twilight abit before i concuss.

sent irin to tpy mrt. on my way home, the bus 28 malfunction at the braddell flyover. -_- got stuck there for 1 hour plus. sian...






Two of the nendoriod which i chose to forgo for now. due to the inflation of yen dollars or the workings of the toy merchants, the price rose from 42 to the current 50. and thats pre-order price. -_- how to buy? not to mention that i have no money to buy at the moment. also even if i buy, also no place to display for now. shrug. just ranting. baby, dont buy this for me. not worth it lah. if wanna buy...



is much better. but also not worth the price for the time being...

best if you dont get me toys, pricing are too inconsistance. few months down the road, these could be selling at 20 or 30 dollars. hahaha better to be hunting. more fun.

Woke up early and went to learn driving.

Lots of things i have to practise.
i have a tendance to release brake when changing gear. have to change.
not releasing the brake when about to stop= jerky stop. have to change.
tend to "float" to left or right side of the road. have to readjust my eyeline.
Overall, the 2 main things on driving, footwork and sighting, have to improve alot.

On my way to PS, A kid came over to me and started to imitate the way i was sitting. after which he started to play with my bag. in the end i gave him the one-pieve bell with luffy before alighting.




Yeo transfered me 400 and i topped up abit to pay off the M1 bill. Raymond keep saying that i should transfer the line's ownership to yeo and so on. i got angry at him and sort of flamed him. yeo regardless of what, was once a friend and a partner. what ray is asking me to do is like severing all ties. 人情留一线，他日好相见。anyway, i apologised to ray for flaring like that.

tried to shop ard for something for irin... end up cant find anything ideal. and i have too little money to do so... haiz... see how la.

8th feb 2009 - rek

woke up early to go over to church. ranna was going to be late so i saved a seat for her. after service, went to meet seagull to pass him his set of human anatomy. hahaha seagull and his wife were wearing couple t-shirt of mickey mouse. according to mrs gull, the toddler who was in the child care was wearing a similar t-shirt, so it's not a couple shirt. it's a FAMILY shirt!!! hahahaha

After that, went over to csc to pass Alf his set of human anatomy as well. actually alf wanted to give me a treat at delifrance buffet in the morning, but i turned him down saying i got something on. when i found him seated outside guardian, his bag was on his lap, head bowed over it and hand covering his ears. with his short cropped hair, he sort of looks like a fugitive. i just called his name, pass him the toys and went off. he looks like he got something to say but i dont think i want to stop to listen. still feeling displeased about the way we parted. he just say want to severe all ties and thats about it. well, as for that, i'm saying what i was feeling in the blog. even if i have to do it again, i will. another thing will be that alf refused to reveal the identity of the person whom showed him my blog. i know who is it, but as long as alf refused to reveal it, it means he treasures that person more than me. hmmmm... what was the saying? 1 bad friend is worse than 10 enemies.

Went home after that. actually bought nasi lemak for lunch, but after taking the meat from pa ma's leftover lunch. it was very filling. played some pet society and perfect world before taking a nap.

woke up at night to go to a BBQ that my mom's 4th brother arranged. lots of food. lots of ppl. 50+ of us...










the funny part was when my cousin wei chuan, my mom's eldest brother's son, held his daughter in a head lock and going ard acknowledging all the relatives. all the gong and the ma. hahaha

pa ma sort of realised that i'm a christian now, and they are not too happy over it. well. i might be a christian, but i'm also a taoist and buddhist. just need more time for them to get used to it. actually i dont believe in being bounded to religion, i believe in heart. as long as you feel right, do ahead. will hurting ppl feel rite? no. is stealing right? no. these are the things that leave you with a bad taste in the mouth. feeling nasty and evil. i dont know how to say, but i have a strong sense of empathy. i feel bad when ppl are. somehow going to the rock feels right. i dont believe in breaking roots, so i'm still going on with my taoism and buddhism studies as well as praying to ancestors.

hmmm... yesterday had a small talk with irin. the content was quite interesting and i believe alot of ppl had faced it in their relationship before. when irin ask if i'm planning anything for V-day, i say nothing. she say good also, since both of us are financially tight. she mentioned that maybe such days are not as important to me as to her. then when i mentioned that i might get her a little something, she say if i do, then she'll need to prepare something for me as well. so i asked, if its possible for her to just recieve and not do anything in return? she asked why? well... its not like buying, but i'm giving you something. i give out of love and i hope that you can enjoy it without having a feeling of debt. when buying something, you give something and get something. when giving something, you get nothing back, or at most a thanks.

there are ppl who give things and expect something in return. they give you a shirt and over time, keep asking why you never wear it out. well, in my case, i'll just say it dont suit my style.in the case of someone like irin, she feels very bothered by it. to wear or not to wear, that is the question. hahahaha. no lah, but are your intentions rite when you give someone something? are you expecting something? a gift would bring happiness not displeasure.

Yesterday went for driving in the afternoon. As more practical lessons i go through, i'm getting more confident in driving. hmmm... yesterday for some reason, the car dont seems to drive that well. some angles are abit off. the instructor keep grabbing to steering wheel to straighten it. in the end, i got abit irritated and drove with only my right hand. hahaha... the instructor was ok lah. he took some time to explain to me over the test sheet, what points to observe. as per normal, i still need to work alot on my braking.

Went to meet ray and boon for dinner at vivo. Completed the human anatomy set for alf and seagull. only short of one more set.

Woke up with a sore throat and runny nose, think stupid ray passed me his flu virus. ass... i tot he only got sore throat. recently raymond's very bad with information. receiving or giving.

Think today will be home chilling, playing games and packing toys ba. Need to be sorting out the old extras into ziplocks. then maybe see which will be suitable for selling at PS and updating the rest on the blogshop.


feeling abit drowsy now. maybe will be taking a nap as well as some panadol.

Didnt manage to get a slot for this early morning. so stay home and did some downloading and other stuff.

Driving today is alot smoother. after 2 rounds ard the circuit, we drove to the public road. feeling a bit more confident with the workings of the car. for some reason, i get cold feet before going to driving, but once i sit behind the wheel, i'm as bold as anything. even the instructor today ask if i have drove before. guess years of watching dad and yeo drive isnt a bad thing. hahaha, if anything, i'm good at observing and imitating.

After which, i went over to PS to top up some stock. hmmm... might have to redo the display again or to look for another way to display more stuff. hahaha here i am saying that i'm thinking of closing the locker, but i keep looking for ways to improve how it looks and attract sales. maybe its more of a hobby and a fun thing to do rather than a means of bread and butter.

Maybe i'm easily moved, but the recent bleach opening really touched me. here it is. along with the lyrics as the youtube isnt very clear.

Went for Driving Prac early in the morning. Hmmm... so far i havent really talked about my driving lessons yet.

Basically i'm glad that i went to learn from school rather than private. why? i had 4 lessons so far, and 4 different instructors taught me. somehow each of them have different driving habits that are important and beneficial to pick up. the one that taught me in the morning, placed alot of emphasis on hold down on the brakes when you are stationary. then the one in the afternoon emphasis on looking ahead of traffic, line of sight. with better view of the traffic ahead, you can plan easier for a smooth brake.

so far, i went out on the public road once this afternoon, went up to 4th gear drove at 70. the instructor told me to slow down when i'm nervous or afraid. but somehow, the more nervous i am, the faster i drove. -_-" have to change that. must be ccooooolll~~~~

After lessons, i went over to PS to pick up my sales revenue for the month of Jan. didnt realise that i've broke even in Jan. hahaha, lets hope feb can generate enough sales to cover itself. looks like i shouldnt be fooling ard much longer. need to sort out the toys and sell off the extras fast. the reason why other ppl are holding the cabinets are for clearing thier extras they got when they turn gachapons. for me, i'm looking to generate income. but by selling the current stock, i might be only depleting my own stock for covering the rental. looks like i have to re-plan, re-org abit.

Just started playing perfect world international due to the influence of uncle7. but somehow dont find it very nice. getting abit boring. good also. then i can give up playing it and concentrate on getting more things organized. but first, i wanna out level uncle7. hahaha.

Would like to dedicate the following MTV to my "brothers". basically there isnt many of you. Ray. Boon. Mond. If we were living in ancient times, know that i'll be there to guard your back. maybe thats the reason why i like to play RPG games. i like the feeling of being there for someone when they need. In real life, its abit hard to ask for help when you need. Needing help and asking for it is all a natural thing, but being ourselves, its always hard to put your face down and ask.

Boon always responds to any call for KS in maple. maybe he also feels the same way. Sorry Ray, didnt make it yesterday. but sore throat, think you better stay home abit. away from outside food. Mond, thanks for lending me the money to buy lego. will return you asap. but hopefully before the new castle series comes, if not, i might have to borrow more. hahaha

Yesterday went for driving lesson, then went to TPY to pray to tian gong.









Looks like i have to polish up my photo skill...

Irin came over in the morning today. Actually i planned to bring pa ma to have perankan food today. end up, the one that ma is interesting in isnt opened today. haiz... and we dilly dally til too late to go out. but to me its fine, get to spend time alone with irin.

feel abit bad about not having raymond out, since he smsed me yesterday to ask if wanna have lunch. once a while, he got afternoon free, we didnt wanna meet him. hahaha... but good also. i'm still feeling bloated from the new year food. so cant really have buffet. and really really low on money.

Found out that it was ranna whom let aunt1 know about my going to church. hahaha think she got shock when mama called her to ask this and that.

Irin was planning to meet me tomorrow after her lesson, but yan managed to get a slot at 12 for me tomorrow. so think i'll be going for driving as my timing is really tight now.

Woke at 8.30am to go out with my parents. went over to TPY first to buy fish and crabs to praying on monday night.

Then we went over to lorong 4 for breakfast, wonton mee for me, bak chor mee for mom and dad.

then we went over to my dad's cousin's stall for a visit. yeah~ got a $10 ang pao. here is a picture of thier stall.

wah, the speed at which they generate you char kuey is very very slow... and the dough looks soft soft one... after tasting, thiers is closer to the taste that my grandma had, but thiers is softer. somehow like chinese ramen(thiers) comparing to japanese ramen (ours). mom bought flowers from praying here also.

after that, we went over to the temple at yio chu kang to pray to tai sui.

Wah... high tech rite? on the altar, the zodiacs are painted there. placement of the clear plaque will show which are the zodiacs that chong or fan tai sui.

after which, we went over to TPY to chill abit and went on to have a late lunch. reached back home ard 4pm. currently downloading perfect world to play. uncle7 showed me the game. tot i'll just try it out. maybe will be taking a nap soon.
