12th Jan 2009 - rek

Had a good night's sleep. more or less good lah. then its time to do some catching up on blogging.

Last thursday, i went out for dinner with ray and shinvy at seah imm. the laksa was too spicy for my taste, so i didnt finish all of it. later we went shopping at daiso, and i got some hmmm... cloth cases for my comics. tried it out, quite ideal. boon came to join us and we went for dessert at haagen daz.

Hazelnut and chocolate dont-know-what, its what i had. quite nice it turned out. the rich favour of the hazelnut with chocolate... yum...

Mango tango, this is what raymond had. i think you can tell how is a person's mental state from the way they eat. in a single spoon, ray guffed down half a scoop of his 2 scoop ice cream. come on dude, if we are going to be stuffing ourselves in this way, might as well buy bread and do it. so much cheaper. relaz lah... enjoy...

This is what shinvy had. i dont know what it is.

Raymond paid for the dessert. he insisted on paying for it. i think its partly becos he dont wan me to be spending too much in my income-less situation. thanks dude. we did a comparison. Hong among the 4 of us was the one with the highest income and the best finanicial state. i'm the one with the lowest income and worst finanicial state. but i feel that i'm alot more "wealthy". i can boldy proclaim to anyone that i have at least 2 friends who wont let me go hungry. thanks guys.

Today parents suddenly wanna go to chinatown for the pork innards soup. so off we go on a long long ride. mum was quite pleased that the stall keepers were friendly and welcome me when we reached there. yeo had been bringing me there to eat for ard 6 years liao. though the soup is simple, it satisfy my meat craving in a sort of way that buffets cant.
Look at the soup. see how clear it is. compared to the one at TPY, its way better. the murky smelly soup cant even be compared at all.

Dad complained that xiang cai spoils the taste of the soup. the kidney isnt very good though the cooking was. in the end, look at his bowl. he couldnt even finished a smaller bowl of rice at the seafood resturant last night and he cleaned up everything here. well... almost everything.

This is my display after i removed the sets to redo last friday.

Here are my displays when i redid them at home.

Here's how my current display at the shop looks like. any suggestions to improve?
